Lebanese Wins the Arab Entrepreneurship Rally 2019

Under the patronage and presence of Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary General of the League of Arab States, and Mohammed Abdo Saeed, the President of the Union of Arab Chambers,  Sameer Abdullah Nass the President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a crowd of Arab and foreign economic figures, the names of the winners the Arab Entrepreneurship Rally 2019 were announced within the activities of the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum in Bahrain and the 18th Arab Businessmen and Investors Conference.

The competition was organized by the Union of Arab Chambers, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the League of Arab States, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

The final phase of the competition witnessed the participation of 18 teams from 18 Arab countries representing university students from all Arab countries.

The competition aimed at finding innovative solutions for a large number of projects needed in the Arab region, such as water, agriculture, renewable energy, environmental pollution and how to modify environmental waste.

The Lebanese participant managed to win the first place, while the Egyptian participant came in the second place, and the contestant from Saudi Arabia in the third place. The first winner from Lebanon received $50,000, while the second place winner from Egypt got $25,000, and the third place from Saudi Arabia received $10,000.
